Hear Me, ye mortal birds!

In the Rose Garden of changeless splendor a Flower hath begun to bloom, compared to which every other flower is but a thorn, and before the brightness of Whose glory the very essence of beauty must pale and wither. Arise, therefore, and, with the whole enthusiasm of your hearts, with all the eagerness of your souls, the full fervor of your will, and the concentrated efforts of your entire being, strive to attain the paradise of His presence, and endeavor to inhale the fragrance of the incorruptible Flower, to breathe the sweet savors of holiness, and to obtain a portion of this perfume of celestial glory. Whoso followeth this counsel will break his chains asunder, will taste the abandonment of enraptured love, will attain unto his heart’s desire, and will surrender his soul into the hands of his Beloved. Bursting through his cage, he will, even as the bird of the spirit, wing his flight to his holy and everlasting nest.

Thank you for your comment.
I have recently changed my job. For a while I could not get easy access to the net, as my laptop I use for this Blog is actually a company provided laptop. Now that my new employer has provided me with a laptop, posting is now easier. The other fact is that with this new job, my schedule has been quite tight. I am sure I will get back into the swing of this soon.

One thing that does keep me going is little comments from people and occasional discussions. That makes me happy. :-) I am sure you know that from your own blog.

Below is the quote you are looking for. I think it is categorized as "pilgrim's notes".

‘Abdu’l-Baha is reported to have said these words in the course of His parting address to the first group of western pilgrims who visited Him in ‘Akka in 1899:

And now I give you a commandment which shall be for a covenant between
you and Me-that ye have faith; that your faith be steadfast as a rock
that no storms can move, that nothing can disturb, and that it endure
through all things even to the end; even should ye hear that your Lord
has been crucified, be not shaken in your faith; for I am with you
always, whether living or dead, I am with you to the end. As ye have
faith so shall your powers and blessings be. This is the balance-this is
the balance-this is the balance.

(Adib Taherzadeh, The Revelation of Baha'u'llah v 4, p. 217)
The same reference can be found in H.M. Balyuzi's, "`Abdu'l-Baha - The Centre of the Covenant" on p. 72.
